I have actually never purchased a puppy from Mike, because at the time, they didn't have any babies. But I was invited to the farm anyway to come see his dogs and his place. Mike is a Huge advocate for the Sheltie breed. He is committed to protecting and promoting the breed. In January of this year, I was looking on their page and saw Mike was trying to help a family rehome their Sheltie that they could no longer keep. with Mike's help I became that sweet girl's new mom. Days after I adopted her, Mike continued to reach out to me. Checking on Daisy, seeing if he could help in anyway. Leslie and Mike are dedicated and loving Sheltie breeders. They raise their pups in their home with constant love and attention. When I purchased my good boy, Skipper, Shelties of Kimble's Bee Farms' price could not be beat. The purchase price is the least of the reasons that I would recommend Leslie and Mike to anyone interested in a Sheltie pup. Both of them go above and beyond to help new owners with questions they have at anytime. I, for one, had and continue to have many questions about what is best for my good boy. Received an 8 week old puppy which is beautiful and healthy. The owners Mike and Leslie Kimble gave me a folder with AKC registration process, shots, and worming along with other pertinent information. Their website is active with videos and post from new owners of the puppies. Their customer service is excellent. Leslie and Mike obviously care for their pups. A previous super-satisfied couple referred us to them after we search a lot of places. They cared for my puppy in their home and provided him with experiences such as playing outside and being handled by them in a home environment, They provided me with documentation of his vaccines and other information all in a very organized folder. I visited with Mike on Friday. On walking into his house, I was immediately greeted
by beautiful adult Shelties. Mike is very open, honest and an animal lover to the 9th degree. The 5 puppies were very happy and content and the mother Savannah, had a very welcoming personality as well and was very dutiful in her babies. It was a pleasurable experience to see animals so well cared for by their owner and their parents. I am an older guy, it is difficult for me to admit this, but I might be coming to the realization that getting a puppy at this time in my life might not be the thing for me to do. ​When I finally made the difficult phone call to call Mike and told him that I had decided not to get one of his puppies, he was very cordial and even invited me to visit him and "them", the puppies, and his adult Shelties any time. Secret be told: I fell in love with the daddy of the puppies, Scout, OMG, that is a beautiful dog. Finally, and to be open: Mike so readily admits that his shelties are a bit larger than the Sheltie size for shows but that he is raising shelities to be PETS I like this very much, because so many of us out there are looking for a Sheltie pet and can only find a Sheltie that is "show-grade" with a "show-grade" price tag.
